Is there parking available at the practice?
Yes. Street parking is available on Van Riebeeck Road directly outside Kuilsriver Doctors. Parking is generally accessible during all practice hours, Monday to Saturday. Patients with mobility challenges should phone ahead so we can advise on the easiest access point.
How do I find the practice if I am coming by car?
From the N1/R300 interchange, take the R300 toward Kuilsriver and exit onto Van Riebeeck Road. The practice is at number 33 Van Riebeeck Road, on the same stretch as the Kuilsriver Traffic Department and the Kuilsriver CDC. Zevenwacht Mall is a nearby landmark for patients approaching from the Brackenfell direction.
What should I do if I have a medical emergency after hours?
Kuilsriver Doctors does not offer after-hours or on-call services. In a medical emergency, call 10177 for an ambulance or go directly to your nearest emergency room. The closest options are Cape Gate Mediclinic (approximately 10 minutes) and Tygerberg Hospital (approximately 12 minutes). For non-emergencies, please contact us when we open the next business day.
Is the practice accessible by public transport?
Yes. Golden Arrow bus services run along Van Riebeeck Road near the practice. Minibus taxis connecting Kuilsriver to Bellville, Brackenfell, and surrounding suburbs also pass nearby. Kuilsriver Metrorail station is approximately a 5-minute walk away, though Metrorail services in the Western Cape are subject to disruption — check service status before travelling.
Is the practice wheelchair accessible?
Patients with mobility limitations or who require wheelchair access are encouraged to call us on 021 903 6830 before their appointment so we can make suitable arrangements. Street parking on Van Riebeeck Road allows patients to park close to the entrance.
